Vehicle Technician Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced vehicle technician to join our team at Mr Clutch, a leading national Autocentre network. As a vehicle technician, you will play a crucial role in diagnosing, repairing, and servicing our customers' vehicles to the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Carry out repairs and servicing to the highest standards and to the appropriate specification;
  • Test and diagnose faults as requested;
  • Examine vehicles, recognise and provide a written report on vehicle (or component) defects or systems of impending failure;
  • Ensure all work is carried out observing safe working practices of self and others;
  • Promote and maintain the Company image, acting as a brand ambassador

Requirements:

  • Fully qualified (or time served) vehicle technician;
  • Current driving licence (for vehicle road testing);
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently as well as part of a team;
  • Appropriate hands-on experience and qualifications in the motor industry;
  • Own tools required, but basic toolkit loans available.
