Role Overview

As an Assistant Project Manager at Vulcain Engineering - UK, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the successful delivery of engineering, procurement, manufacturing, construction, and commissioning activities for various projects.

Your primary responsibility will be to plan and coordinate project activities, manage resources, and maintain effective communication with stakeholders to ensure that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Project Planning and Coordination: Define the work scope, identify interfaces, and develop project plans, including resource allocation, cost management, and risk assessment.
  • Communication and Stakeholder Management: Maintain effective relationships with team members, clients, and other stakeholders to ensure that project requirements are met and expectations are managed.
  • Resource Management: Secure the necessary resources to support project delivery, including personnel, equipment, and materials.
  • Change Management: Develop and implement change control processes to manage scope changes, updates to project plans, and other modifications that may impact project delivery.
Requirements
  • Essential Skills: Proficiency in project management tools and techniques, planning software (e.g., Primavera P6, MS Project), cost software (e.g., SAP), and risk management software (e.g., ARM, EcoSys).
  • Desirable Skills: Knowledge of Earned Value Management (EVM) principles, Microsoft Office, and English language proficiency (written and verbal).
