We are seeking a talented Academic Leader in Mathematics Education to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will receive a competitive salary of £42,000 - £62,000 per annum.

As a senior Maths teacher, you will play a crucial role in supporting the Head of Maths to drive exceptional progress and achievement in the subject. Your responsibilities will include:

Main Objectives:

  • Supporting the Head of Maths in maintaining high academic standards and achieving departmental targets.
  • Developing and implementing effective Maths curricula, including schemes of work and teaching strategies.
  • Collaborating with colleagues to ensure seamless communication with parents and carers.
  • Identifying areas of underachievement and developing targeted intervention programmes to address these gaps.
  • Promoting Maths within the school and community through various events and initiatives.
  • Leading quality assurance activities such as student voice, work sampling, and lesson observations to maintain high standards.
