About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Project Development Engineer to join our dynamic team at Manhard Consulting, Ltd. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for leading land development projects from conceptualization to completion.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Develop and implement project plans, including conceptual site layout, utility design, and site grading design.
  2. Collaborate with clients to understand their needs and develop solutions that meet their requirements.
  3. Prepare and submit permit applications to municipal agencies.
  4. Lead the preparation of feasibility studies, master planning, and engineering design for water, sanitary, and storm sewer systems, paving, and detention facilities.
  5. Assist in the preparation of proposals for engineering services and review project specifications.
  6. Oversee the production of final construction drawings and delegate specific project components to junior engineers.
  7. Mentor and train junior engineers to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties.
  8. Work closely with other disciplines on multi-discipline projects to ensure seamless project delivery.
  9. Manage project schedules and ensure timely completion of projects.
  10. Participate in business development activities to identify new opportunities and grow the business.
  11. Represent the company at client and municipal meetings and hearings.
  12. Prepare and monitor project budgets and assist with accounts receivable.
Requirements
  • 3+ years of experience in land development or a related field.
  • Passed the Fundamentals of Engineering (FE) exam.
  • Strong understanding of local governmental public and private development codes.
  • Proficient in AutoCAD Civil 3D and Microsoft Office.
  • Deltek experience a plus.
  • Fluent in the English language.
