  • The successful Principal Designer will work alongside an experienced team of consultants and project managers, focusing on risk management, CDM compliance, and client advisory services.

You'll be responsible for overseeing the pre-construction phase, conducting design risk reviews, compiling essential documentation and ensuring projects meet CDM 2015 regulations.

The Principal Designer will engage with clients to identify and mitigate design and construction risks and lead workshops and training sessions for team members and clients. This role promises a broad portfolio of projects spanning residential, commercial, and mixed-use developments, providing an enriching variety to develop your expertise.

Requirements

To succeed in this role, you'll need:

  • A NEBOSH National Certificate in Construction Health and Safety, ideally with TechIOSH or APS accreditation.
  • A comprehensive understanding of CDM regulations and construction design risk management.
  • A background in construction or architectural design with a proactive approach to safety leadership.
