About the RoleThis challenging yet rewarding position involves leading and working alongside the Nurse Manager to ensure the efficient running of the home. Key responsibilities include:
- Managing nursing and care staff to deliver exceptional care and maintain high standards.
- Ensuring all staff are registered with relevant professional bodies and meet legal requirements.
- Carrying out pre-employment checks and verifying staff qualifications.
- Overseeing staffing levels to ensure resident safety and adjusting as needed.
- Maintaining a uniformly high standard of resident care and nursing practice.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- At least 1 year's experience as a Nurse in Charge in a nursing home setting.
- An active NMC Pin and ability to work in Northern Ireland.
