The Cloud Engineer is responsible for building, automating, and scaling Taptap Send's cloud infrastructure, including AWS services, critical IT services, and the systems Taptap Send uses to monitor and operate its systems.

Key Responsibilities:
Drive Taptap Send infrastructure as code projects and architecture, including improving and remediating to make IaaC at Taptap Send more modular and maintainable.
Assure effective integration between Taptap Send's cloud environment and core IT systems.
Hands-on cloud experience, especially in AWS. AWS certification preferred.
Hands-on experience developing scalable, modular infrastructure as code projects using tools like Terraform, CloudFormation, and Ansible.
Fundamental knowledge of cloud networking.
Hands-on experience with Docker and container schedulers including AWS ECS & EKS, Kubernetes, Mesos/Marathon, or Docker Enterprise.
Familiarity with industry leading monitoring tools, like Datadog, Honeycomb.
Experience with hands-on software engineering as part of a larger team or project (open-source experience acceptable).
Experience programming in Python. Other systems programming experience (examples: Java, Kotlin, Scala, Clojure) a plus.
Experience administering or integrating with identity management systems for SSO, including AWS IAM, Okta, Active Directory.

Requirements:
Degree in Computer Science, IT, or similar field;
Strong understanding of cloud infrastructure and automation tools;
Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment;
Strong communication and collaboration skills;
Ability to work in a global team and communicate effectively across time zones.
