Transformative Governance Role at British Rowing

British Rowing is seeking a skilled Governance Programme Manager to drive strategic and operational change. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the implementation of a new governance structure, supporting the Governance and Integrity Lead in the development of governing documents and policies.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Lead Governance Framework Implementation: Manage the project delivery of a new governance framework, ensuring seamless integration with existing processes.
  2. Review and Draft Governance Documents: Collaborate with the Governance and Integrity Lead to review and draft governing documents, policies, and procedures, ensuring compliance with relevant legal frameworks and Code for Sports Governance requirements.
  3. Committee and Panel Support: Assist the Governance and Integrity Lead in the recruitment, induction, and ongoing support of new Committee and Panel members.
  4. Annual Work Plan Development: Support the Governance and Integrity Lead in planning and drafting annual work plans for Committees and Panels, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives.
  5. Governance Policy Review and Redesign: Review and redesign key governance policies and processes to optimize efficiency and quality service delivery.
  6. Governance Records and Data Storage: Develop and implement a governance records and data storage system, ensuring access controls, audit trails, and rules for ways of working.
  7. Governance Portal Implementation: Support the Governance and Integrity Lead in the implementation of a new governance portal, ensuring seamless integration with existing systems.
