Job Description:

As a Specialist Care and Support Worker, you will play a vital role in supporting our customers at times when extra support is required.

You will accompany them to appointments, shopping, prepare meals, and help with daily living routines, including washing, dressing, and personal care.

Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Supporting customers with daily tasks and activities
  • Mentoring and supporting a team of Care and Support Workers
  • Undertaking quality monitoring visits and updating the Team Manager as necessary
  • Designing and implementing care plans to meet individual customer needs
  • Providing standby cover for our out-of-hours service

What You'll Need:

  • A passion for making a difference
  • Ability to lead, motivate, and engage a team
  • Level 2 in Care or equivalent
  • Background in care or similar environment
  • Experience working as part of a team
  • Good communication and organisational skills
  • Flexibility to work across shifts, including weekends
  • Valid driving licence and access to a car

Salary: £28,000 - £32,000 per annum (dependent on experience)
