Special Education Teacher Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Special Education Teacher to join our team at a special needs school in West London. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of working with children who have SEN and a passion for making a difference in their lives.

About the Role

This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a thriving special school that caters to children and young people with severe learning difficulties, profound and multiple difficulties, and autism. You will be part of a dedicated team that provides a supportive and inclusive learning environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Teaching primary class lessons to students with SEN
  • Developing and implementing individualized education plans
  • Collaborating with colleagues to provide a comprehensive support system
  • Providing feedback and guidance to students and colleagues

Requirements

  • QTS and experience of working with children who have SEN
  • Basic PECS, Makaton, TEACCH, and Team Teach skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
  • Passion for making a difference in the lives of students
