This is a full-time Consultant post in Paediatrics based at Russells Hall Hospital.
Main ResponsibilitiesAs a Child Health Specialist, you will work collaboratively with colleagues to develop outreach paediatric services and promote an integrated child health service.
You will be responsible for teaching/training and educational supervision, as well as managing a minimum of 3 clinics per week. Clinics will be proportionately reduced to account for any theatre commitments.

Person Specification- MBBS or equivalent qualification required
- Full GMC registration with a licence to practice and on GMC Specialist Register for General Paediatrics required
We offer a competitive salary, estimated to be around £110,000 - £160,000 per annum, depending on experience and location. You will also have opportunities to contribute to the planning and redesign of paediatric services, making this role both challenging and rewarding.
This is a non-resident post with current on-call commitments for acute paediatrics and neonates on a 1 in 9 basis. To support the on-call Consultant, there are 2 Registrars and 2 SHO's/ANNP's resident on-site overnight.
