Job Title: Residential Childcare Specialist

We are a leading training provider in the Childcare sector, committed to delivering high-quality learning experiences to thousands of learners and employers nationally. We are seeking a passionate and experienced Residential Childcare and training professional to join our team.

About the Role:

This role involves supporting a diverse cohort of learners through their apprenticeship journey, providing outstanding teaching and learning experiences. You will be responsible for engaging, motivating, and encouraging learners to achieve their work-based qualifications through differentiated, impactful, and innovative teaching and learning.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver high-quality teaching and learning experiences to learners
  • Ensure learners are fully prepared for End Point Assessment
  • Recruit for learners and employed apprentice opportunities
  • Harness the use of technology and learning resources
  • Adhere to GDPR regulations and data security policies
  • Conduct consistent, planned, progressive visits and reviews with learners and employers
  • Promote and safeguard the welfare of children, young people, and individuals
Requirements:
  • Teaching qualification (AET, DET, Cert Ed, PGCE)
  • Experience of delivering CYPF apprenticeships
  • Relevant occupational competency within the CYPF sector, at a minimum of supervisor level
  • Strong track record of supporting learners through End Point Assessment
  • Ability to manage a caseload of learners with varying learning requirements
  • GCSE Maths and English at grade C or above or equivalent Functional Skills qualifications
