Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Disaster Response Coordinator to join our emergency planning team in Dungeness. This contract position offers a competitive hourly rate.

Main Tasks

  1. Basic maintenance and upkeep of onsite emergency facilities.
  2. Upgrade emergency facilities and collaborate with maintenance teams.
  3. Conduct site emergency exercises and create scenarios.
  4. Distribute emergency exercise plans.
  5. Collaborate with station staff to gather and share exercise feedback.
  6. Schedule maintenance and upgrades for defective or non-operational pagers.
  7. Analyse pager test data to meet regulatory standards.
  8. Serve as an 'umpire' during emergency exercises.
  9. Update emergency documentation as needed.

Essential Skills

  • Strong IT skills with administrative experience.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Flexible and proactive approach to work.

Estimated Salary: £14,660 per annum.
