Job Title: Part Time Education Mentor

We have an exciting opportunity for a Part Time Education Mentor to join our team at Novus, a leading provider of education services in prison settings across England and Wales.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver high-quality education sessions to learners in a prison environment
  • Work with a dedicated team of professionals to support learners in achieving their goals
  • Develop and implement engaging lesson plans to meet the needs of learners
  • Assess and record learner progress

Requirements:
  • Teaching qualification or subject specialist qualification at Level 4 (Level 5 - new standards)
  • Commitment to obtain the relevant outstanding Level 4 (Level 5 - new standards) qualification within a specified time scale
  • Hold at least a Level 2 qualification in Literacy and Numeracy
  • Track record of effective teaching in subject specialism
