About the Job:

The primary objective of this position is to support the Stores Controller in delivering an efficient service to operations. This includes operating safely within stores, dealing with industrial staff, taking responsibility for waste streams, and maintaining a tidy and organized store environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Ensure smooth operations within the store by maintaining accurate records, managing inventory, and coordinating deliveries.
  • Communicate effectively with industrial staff, suppliers, and internal teams to ensure seamless operations.
  • Maintain a clean and organized store environment, adhering to health and safety standards.
  • Work collaboratively with the Stores and Logistics Team to support a busy operational depot.

Requirements:

  • Demonstrated experience in operations management, with a strong understanding of logistics and supply chain processes.
  • Flexible attitude towards work, with a willingness to adapt to changing priorities and take on new responsibilities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to converse with members of the public and internal stakeholders.
  • Basic computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office and familiarity with CRM systems.
