Job Title: GCSE SEN Tutor

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced SEN Tutor to provide tailored support to students with Special Educational Needs in GCSE English and Maths.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement individualised learning plans to meet the specific needs of each student
  • Deliver engaging and interactive lessons to enhance student understanding and progress
  • Assess student progress and adjust teaching methods accordingly
  • Communicate effectively with parents, teachers, and other stakeholders regarding student progress
  • Maintain accurate records of student performance and development
Requirements:
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Experience working with students with Special Educational Needs
  • Strong knowledge of the GCSE English and Maths curriculum
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Education or related field
  • At least 2 years of teaching experience, preferably in a SEN setting
Working Conditions:

The work will primarily take place in the learners home, interacting with students on a 1:1 basis.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This is a temporary position, with the option to make it permanent at a later date.
