Head of Procurement and Fleet Manager

Voyage Care Ltd is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Head of Procurement and Fleet to lead our procurement function and manage our vehicle fleet. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing strategic sourcing activities, managing supplier relationships, and driving cost savings.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and oversee strategic sourcing activities to find and develop new suppliers for the business.
- Manage the competitive sourcing process related to contract pricing, terms, and conditions.
- Develop, implement, and drive Key Performance Measurements for areas of responsibility.
- Navigate and analyze complex data to identify and present opportunities.
- Manage and develop the team to deliver business objectives as well as individual personal development goals.
- Form strong relationships and build trust with key stakeholders in the organization to understand business needs and to establish and strengthen strategies.
Requirements
- Operational experience of managing and working within large (ideally national) organization's procurement function in the capacity of Senior Procurement Manager, Senior Buyer (or similar) Head of Procurement with a multi-site remit.
- 10+ Years of Procurement/Buying Experience.
- Track Record of People Management and Development.
- Good Communicator able to operate at all organization levels.
- Degree level or equivalent experience.
- Customer focused, with excellent influencing and communication skills.
- The ability to work with and influence a broad range and level of stakeholders and supplier staff.
- Experience of working with a diverse supply base and wide geographical spread of contracts.
- Strong commercial acumen and a proven track record of identifying and delivering substantial savings.
- Proficient analytical skills and a measured approach to decision making.
- Well-developed written, presentational, and verbal communication skills.
- Experience of leading and managing teams.
- Willingness to work with a hybrid approach, attending the office as required.
- Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize accordingly.
