Residential Care Lead

Vetro Recruitment is seeking an experienced Residential Care Lead to oversee the daily operations of a children's service in Cardiff.
This permanent role offers a competitive salary of £33,000 - £35,000, along with excellent benefits including full training and continued support, life assurance and pension, health cashback plan, Blue Card Scheme, and bike to work scheme.
As Residential Care Lead, you will be responsible for:
- Implementing and maintaining high standards of care and support for service users.
- Leading a team of staff to provide a safe and supportive environment.
- Monitoring and evaluating the effectiveness of care plans and implementing changes as necessary.
- Managing risk and ensuring compliance with relevant legislation and regulations.
- Preparing regular reports for senior management.
You will need:
- NVQ Level 5 in Health and Social Care
- Significant experience in residential care management
- Excellent leadership and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Experience of working with vulnerable adults and children
