This is an exciting opportunity to join our finance team as a Strategic Finance Partner. Based near Liverpool, our company is a fast-paced clothing retailer experiencing rapid growth. As a key member of the finance function, you will play a pivotal role in supporting strategic financial objectives and driving further growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the analysis of performance by product, SKU and sales channel.
  • Identify factors impacting the gross margin and provide recommendations to mitigate risk.
  • Partner with non-finance teams to develop pricing strategies, competitor benchmarking and impact assessments.
  • Collaborate with development teams to ensure a product assortment based on gross margin and customer demand.
  • Manage product cost, evaluating supplier contracts and reducing costs.
  • Evaluate the impact of promotional activities.
  • Develop financial, planning and reporting tools to monitor actuals vs performance.
  • Be involved in any ad-hoc strategic projects as required.

Requirements:

Key qualifications include an accountancy qualification, previous experience in a clothing or e-commerce retailer, excellent Excel modelling skills and experience working in a fast-paced environment.
