About the Role:

The GenAI Engineer will be part of a new team at Aviva, responsible for delivering a state-of-the-art GenAI platform. This platform will provide a common framework to architect, build, test, deploy, and run GenAI capabilities and services that can be easily leveraged for various business and technology use cases.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Build reusable, scalable infrastructure and GenAI services/tools required to build a world-class platform providing GenAI services for consumption by business teams.
  • Develop all aspects of a productionized platform, including monitoring/observability, aligning to security standards, and ensuring adherence to a DevSecOps best-practice framework.
  • Oversee continuous integration and delivery pipelines automations to create blueprints for use across software asset creation.

Requirements:

  • Strong background in Software Engineering and DevSecOps, with experience in implementing microservice architectures on large-scale distributed systems through APIs.
  • GenAI system build and delivery experience, including LLM and RAG integration, GenAI services/orchestration, Prompt Engineering, Security, and LLMOps.
  • AWS(EKS)/Azure infra (Terraform, CloudFormation), API/Integration systems delivery (Spring, OAS3.0), strong Python/Java/Node JS programming, DevSecOps principles and practice, Agile/Scrum methodology.
  • Solid understanding and implementation of security, monitoring/observability, and systems assurance best practices.
  • Able to work adaptively with attention to detail, experienced in shaping technical solutions to architectural requirements with good communication skills/able to understand and present complex ideas.
