Home Care Companion

We are a new to market executive Companionship Care Provider to adults in need in their own homes. Some of our clients have suffered a ABI/TBI head injury and are in various stages of rehabilitation.
Key Responsibilities:
Helping customers with tasks such as:
- Providing a highlight of people's day by way of 'Lifting up mood sessions' ongoing, daily, weekly drop in and doing various tasks including having chat and a cup of tea.
- Providing high-quality care and support to individuals in their own homes, promoting independence and well-being. Brightening up someone's day.
- Depending on experience, assisting with medication administration, meal preparation, and household tasks. Full training given.
- Providing emotional support, a listening service and companionship, creating and enhancing overall happiness and well-being.
- Developing strong relationships with the customers, their families, and other healthcare professionals.
- Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records of care provided and any changes in customer's needs using an app on your phone.
Requirements:
We are looking for candidates with the following qualities:
- Be kind, listen and have excellent communication skills and the ability to build rapport with customers and their families.
- Ability to be proactive and also work independently and as part of a team.
- Previous experience in a care or support role is desirable but not essential.
- U.K. driving licence.
- Competitive pay rates up to £13.10 to £17 per hour based on experience and qualifications. We will provide full free training so you can earn more money.
