Role Overview

This role is within the Buying Department – a UK trading & operations team of 7 people responsible for working on business across MEDIABRANDS' Client portfolio, including New Balance, Activision, La Vie, Network Rail, among many others. Key internal relationships are with the Trading Account Managers, Trading and Operations Director, Operations and all Planning teams.

We are looking for a Trading Account Executive to assist with the purchasing of all OOH campaigns from initial brief through to media audit while maintaining our traditional high standards. The MEDIABRANDS buying unit works closely with our four planning teams and is regularly involved in client briefs from initial conception to implementation. The Buying Team is part of the planning process and the approach is one of thorough internal collaboration.

The Role Will Include:

Key Responsibilities

  • Assisting MEDIABRANDS buying across accounts allocated by HoT
  • Ensuring all MEDIABRANDS client buying targets are met and exceeded where possible
  • Ensuring MEDIABRANDS best buying practices are met
  • Developing great owner relationships at junior to mid-level
  • Developing an understanding of barter
  • Developing an understanding of media audits
  • Negotiating & trading media plans
  • Assisting senior team members as required
  • Managing Market analysis and reviews
  • Supporting competitive analysis reviews
  • Supporting post-campaign analysis reviews
  • Managing professional photography process
