A prestigious opportunity has arisen for an experienced Group Finance Director to join a leading restaurant group based in London. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving the company's financial strategy, capital-raising efforts, and supporting ambitious expansion plans.

About the Company

The company is a market-leading restaurant chain with a turnover exceeding £70m, operating across multiple UK retail, delivery, and hospitality channels. As a vertically integrated business, it manages its supply chain from sourcing ingredients to serving customers.

Job Description
  1. Financial Leadership: Lead the Group Finance team to achieve financial objectives and drive the company's financial vision forward.
  2. Capital Raising: Play a central role in raising capital to support the group's M&A strategy, working closely with banks, investors, and financial institutions to secure funding.
  3. M&A Integration: Lead financial due diligence and the integration of acquired businesses, ensuring smooth transitions aligned with the Group's strategic goals.
  4. Strategic Partnership: Collaborate with the Group Chief Executive, Chairman, and other stakeholders on development planning, providing financial modeling and strategic insights.
  5. Financial Reporting: Ensure accurate, timely financial reporting that supports decision-making and complies with UK statutory requirements (PAYE, VAT, etc.).

Requirements
  1. Proven Experience: Proven experience in a senior finance leadership role, ideally within the restaurant, hospitality, or multi-site retail sector.
  2. Capital Raising Expertise: Extensive experience in raising capital to fund M&A activity and business expansion.
  3. M&A Track Record: Strong track record in managing mergers and acquisitions, including financial due diligence and post-deal integration.
  4. Qualifications: ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent qualification.

We estimate the annual salary for this position to be around £120,000 - £180,000, depending on experience and qualifications.
