Job Title: Junior System Administrator

Job Description: We are seeking a Junior System Administrator to support our IT operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining and troubleshooting the systems that keep our studio running smoothly.

Key Responsibilities:

* Assist in the installation, configuration, and maintenance of servers, workstations, and network devices.
* Monitor system performance and ensure the stability and efficiency of our IT infrastructure.
* Provide technical support to the team, including troubleshooting hardware, software, and network issues.
* Manage user accounts, permissions, and access controls.
* Perform routine backups and data recovery processes.
* Support the deployment and management of VFX software and tools, ensuring compatibility with the existing infrastructure.
* Collaborate with the senior IT team to implement security protocols and maintain system integrity.
* Keep documentation of IT processes, configurations, and network architecture up to date.
* Assist with the setup and maintenance of render farms and other VFX-specific infrastructure.
* Stay informed about new technologies and best practices to help improve the efficiency of our systems.

Qualifications:

* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
* Basic knowledge of server and network management, including Linux and Windows operating systems.
* Understanding of network protocols, firewalls, and security practices.
* Experience with troubleshooting hardware and software issues.
* Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
* Excellent communication skills and a customer-focused approach to IT support.
* Experience with VFX software and tools (e.g., Maya, Houdini, Nuke) is a plus but not required.
* Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced, creative environment.
