We are seeking a highly motivated and caring individual to join our team as a Casual Childcare Provision Specialist in Leeds. As a key member of our support staff, you will play a vital role in providing a safe and nurturing environment for vulnerable young people. This role involves working on a casual basis, with flexibility to work the hours you can commit to. Key responsibilities include providing a safe and welcoming environment, observing changes in behavior, and liaising with support workers. Your duties will also include maintaining positive working relationships with young people, staff, and professionals, communicating effectively at all times. You will ensure continuous support is provided to young people, focusing on their safety and well-being. You will need to carry out health and safety actions, including cleaning tasks and following set policies and procedures. Additionally, you will liaison with external agencies, such as the police and Emergency Duty Team. You will support young people attending the hospital or police station. We require experience supporting vulnerable young people, flexibility in availability, including weekend work, and a Residential Childcare/Families Practitioner Diploma or equivalent qualification. You will need to hold a full driving license and have access to a vehicle. Excellent computer skills are essential. Salary: £25,000 - £30,000 per annum (dependent on experience).
