Retail Manager Trainee

Winemark is seeking a highly motivated and ambitious individual to join our team as a Retail Manager Trainee. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for developing the skills and knowledge necessary to succeed in a retail management role.
Main Responsibilities:- Participate in comprehensive training program to develop skills and knowledge in retail management
- Assist in the day-to-day running of a store, including customer service, sales, and stock management
- Develop and implement effective sales strategies to drive business growth
- Lead and motivate a team of sales assistants to achieve sales targets and provide excellent customer service
- Monitor and control stock levels, including ordering and receiving stock
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures, including health and safety, security, and customer service standards
- Minimum 1 year's experience in a retail or customer service environment
- Valid driving license and access to a car
- Good standard of education, including 5 GCSEs with English Language and Maths or equivalent (Grade C or above)
- Ability to communicate clearly and effectively, both verbally and in writing
- Strong leadership and motivational skills, with the ability to work effectively with staff at all levels
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
As a Retail Manager Trainee, you will receive comprehensive training and development to equip you with the skills and knowledge necessary to succeed in a retail management role. This will include training in sales, customer service, stock management, and leadership, as well as ongoing support and guidance from our experienced management team.
