Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Salaried General Practitioner to join our team at Prospect Health in Huddersfield.

Key Responsibilities
  • Work as an autonomous practitioner, providing medical services to the practice population and delivering high-quality clinical care.
  • Manage pathology results for tests generated through patient contacts in a shared capacity with other doctors.
  • Contribute to clinical administration, including evaluating, actioning, and processing hospital correspondence and results.
  • Support other members of the multidisciplinary team, including pharmacists, nurses, healthcare assistants, and administrators with clinical and process questions.
  • Participate in and be visible as part of the practice team, including attendance at clinical team meetings and whole team meetings, QI and audit projects.
Requirements
  • Minimum two years post-training experience.
  • MCGP with licence to practice as a GP.
  • Included on the NHS performers list.
  • Full clean driving licence.
  • Experience of QOF and clinical audit.
  • General understanding of the GMS contract.
