We are working with a high achieving school in the Essex area who are seeking confident graduates to work as unqualified teachers. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals looking to gain experience of working within a secondary school prior to applying to initial teacher training.

The role involves leading lessons of approximately 30 pupils in the absence of the class teacher, teaching students at KS3, GCSE and A-Level. Successful candidates will have the opportunity to work on daily supply or in longer fixed term supply contracts.

As an unqualified teacher, you will be responsible for delivering engaging lessons and providing support to young people. To be successful in this role, you should be adaptable, flexible, motivated, confident and organised, with a passion for education.

This position provides a great opportunity to develop your skills and experience, with the possibility of becoming a fully qualified teacher after 1 year of teaching. The school offers a comprehensive cover supervisor training programme to equip you with the necessary skills.

Requirements

  • Have obtained a bachelor's degree in a subject taught in the UK curriculum or equivalent education.
  • Be passionate about education and providing the highest possible level of support to young people.
