Software Engineering Lead

We are seeking a seasoned Senior Software Engineer to lead our development team in the UK. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for designing and developing complex software solutions while guiding junior developers and ensuring high-quality code.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and develop high-performance software applications using Python, Java, C++, or JavaScript.
- Lead technical decision-making processes and conduct thorough code reviews.
- Mentor junior software engineers in best practices and ensure they have the necessary skills to excel in their roles.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver projects on time and exceed expectations.
- Write and maintain clean, efficient, and well-documented code that meets industry standards.
- Troubleshoot and debug software issues as they arise, providing timely solutions to prevent downtime.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and integrate new technologies to drive innovation.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- At least 5 years of professional experience in software development.
- Strong proficiency in languages such as Python, Java, C++, or JavaScript.
- Experience with software development methodologies (Agile, Scrum).
- Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills, with a proven track record of success.
- Proven experience with cloud technologies (AWS, Azure) is highly desirable.
- Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to effectively manage teams and stakeholders.
