We have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Project Control Specialist to join our Defence team, undertaking Controls & Performance duties on high-profile Infrastructure Projects/Programmes. This role will provide the opportunity to innovate, collaborate, and learn from our experienced and award-winning Planning & Scheduling community and wider extensive Controls and Performance Network.

About the Role
  • Create and maintain project schedules that support and align with project requirements, ensuring timely delivery and effective change management processes.
  • Develop project schedules in conjunction with the project manager and team, defining scope of work and identifying variances from the original plan.
  • Evaluate project schedule progress and performance, identifying developing problem areas and providing solutions.

  • Maintaining accurate and up-to-date project schedules, cost information, and variance analysis.
  • Collaborating with the project team to ensure smooth project execution and identify areas for improvement.
  • Providing expert advice and guidance on project controls concepts, ensuring compliance with industry standards and best practices.

Requirements

  • Degree-qualified in a relevant discipline or relatable experience in a project control environment.
  • Experience working in project or programme management environments, with responsibility for delivery or controls of individual projects, programmes, or portfolios.
  • Proficient in using software applications such as Primavera (P6), Power BI, and Microsoft Office Applications.
  • Demonstrated understanding of Project Controls concepts and ability to apply them effectively.
