We are seeking a skilled and diligent Electrical Maintenance Specialist to join our engineering team in the East Coast of Scotland region. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining and improving the performance of all manufacturing equipment.

About the Role

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of manufacturing equipment and processes, with a focus on electrical bias and control systems. They will be responsible for performing routine maintenance, diagnosing and repairing faults, and collaborating with the team to improve equipment performance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform routine maintenance on manufacturing equipment to ensure optimal performance and efficiency.
  • Diagnose and repair faults in equipment and systems, using electrical bias and control systems expertise.
  • Collaborate with the team to identify areas for improvement and implement changes to enhance equipment performance.
  • Ensure all health and safety guidelines are followed, maintaining a safe working environment.
  • Contribute to the implementation of innovative manufacturing processes, staying up-to-date with the latest industry developments.
  • Participate in training and development programs to enhance skills and knowledge.

Requirements

A successful candidate will have:

  • A strong understanding of manufacturing equipment and processes.
  • Electrical bias expertise, with knowledge of control systems (Scada).
  • Proficiency in diagnosing and repairing faults in equipment and systems.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
