Simulation Developer

We are looking for a highly skilled Senior Software Engineer to join our Synthetic Training Team as a Visual Specialist.
In this role, you will be responsible for developing real-time simulation software that supports training for fast jet aircrew, both for UK and overseas customers.
Key Responsibilities- Collaborate with the team to develop simulations for aircrew training simulators.
- Develop, integrate, and test Image Generation Interfacing Software utilizing the Common Image Generator Interface (CIGI).
- Provide subject matter expertise related to visual display interfacing software to mentor and support other software engineers.
- A degree in Software/Computing or equivalent relevant experience.
- Experience in software development and programming in various languages.
- Knowledge of software design patterns and principles.
- Experience in the Software Engineering lifecycle, including Agile methodologies.
A competitive salary of £48,000 - £53,000 per year, plus benefits such as a pension scheme, enhanced annual leave, and access to an employee assistance program.
