Job Title: Applied Psychologist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced clinical psychologist to join our team at Epsom and St Helier University Hospitals NHS Trust. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing specialist psychological assessment and intervention to families within the neonatal units and paediatric inpatients.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Providing highly specialist psychological assessment and intervention with families within the neonatal unit and paediatric inpatients
  • Offering advice and consultation on psychological aspects of care to other health professionals
  • Supporting clinical team members and working autonomously within recognised professional guidelines
  • Developing and implementing audit, research, and service development projects
  • Participating in the training and continuing professional development of clinical psychologists and other health professionals

Requirements:
  • Doctoral level training in clinical psychology or its equivalent
  • HCPC registered
  • Post-qualification experience through having received a minimum of 50 hours clinical supervision working as a clinical psychologist (or equivalent) over a minimum of 18 months
  • Experience of specialist psychological assessment and treatment of clients across the full range of care settings
  • Experience of working with multidisciplinary teams and service development
