Academic Support Specialist

EdEx is currently working with an excellent Secondary School in the Hounslow area, rated 'Good' by Ofsted, to find a dedicated Humanities Teaching Assistant - Secondary. This opportunity involves providing support to students with SEND/SEMH needs, including those with ASD, ADHD, and SpLD.
Key Responsibilities
The successful candidate will assist class teachers and students with humanities-based subjects, helping out across KS3, KS4, and KS5. They will also provide 1:1 and small group support to students of different ages and abilities.
Requirements
A humanities graduate with strong academics, including a 2:1 or 1st class degree, is essential for this role. Previous school-based experience working with children of all abilities and ages is also necessary. The ideal candidate will have a passion for learning and making a positive difference in the lives of students.
Salary and Benefits
The salary for this position is £105-£110 per day, paid on a term-time only basis. Long-term, full-time opportunities are available, based in the Hounslow borough. A fast-paced environment and a supportive team make this a great opportunity for the right candidate.
