Job Title: Personal Assistant – KBNCL

Location: North Kenton, Newcastle upon Tyne

Hours of Work:

4 hours per week term time

7 hours per week school holidays

Rate of Pay: £13.50 per hour

We are seeking a dedicated and caring Personal Assistant to support a young person with complex needs. The successful candidate will provide one-to-one support to enable the individual to participate in activities of their choice, including going to the cinema, park, and other outings.

The ideal candidate will have experience working with individuals with disabilities and be able to provide physical and emotional support as required. A driving licence and own vehicle are essential for this role, as the successful candidate will need to transport the individual to activities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide one-to-one support to the individual to enable them to participate in activities of their choice
  • Assist with personal care tasks, including medication administration
  • Transport the individual to activities using own vehicle
  • Provide emotional support and reassurance as required

Requirements:

  • Experience working with individuals with disabilities
  • Driving licence and own vehicle
  • Ability to provide physical and emotional support as required

What We Offer:

A competitive hourly rate of £13.50, plus mileage reimbursement for use of own vehicle.
