Job Summary
TRC Total Renal Care Inc is seeking a skilled Patient Care Technician to join our dynamic team. As a Patient Care Technician, you will play a vital role in providing direct patient care and contributing to the overall success of our dialysis center.
About the Role
- Direct Patient Care: Provide safe, comfortable, and hygienic dialysis treatment to patients, ensuring their physical and emotional well-being.
- Technician Duties: Monitor patients before, during, and after dialysis treatment, including measuring and recording vital signs, patient observations, and hemodialysis machine setup.
- Continuous Improvement: Participate in ongoing training and education to enhance skills and knowledge, contributing to the improvement of patient care and center operations.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including nurses, dietitians, social workers, and leadership, to ensure seamless patient care and center operations.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Previous healthcare experience preferred, but not required.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, with flexibility to work variable shifts, including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to work effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members.
