Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Heavy Goods Vehicle (HGV) driver to join our team at EPD Insulation Group Ltd. As a Logistics Driver, you will be responsible for delivering building materials to local, regional, and national trade and public customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliveries: Safely transport building materials to customers in a timely manner.
  • Vehicle Maintenance: Conduct daily checks on the vehicle to ensure it is roadworthy and maintain a high level of fuel efficiency.
  • Paperwork and Administration: Accurately complete delivery notes and handle cash transactions as required.
Requirements
  • Qualifications: Full UK driving license with entitlement to drive an HGV Class 2 vehicle, CPC and Digi-tacho certification.
  • Experience: At least 21 years old due to insurance reasons, no more than 6 penalty points on your current license.
  • Skills: Good geographical and road knowledge, physical fitness for manual handling, excellent customer-facing and verbal communication skills.
Compensation and Benefits

The salary for this role is estimated to be around £38,688 per annum, increasing to £39,936 after 6 months and £41,184 after 12 months. In addition to the base salary, there is an opportunity to earn up to £53,625 with overtime.
