We are seeking a skilled Process Engineer to join our team in Grimsby. As a Process Engineer, you will be responsible for providing daily technical support, reviewing plant production data, and identifying opportunities for efficiency improvements.
About the Role
This is an exciting opportunity to work with a leading industrial manufacturing company. As a Process Engineer, you will be accountable for daily process monitoring, providing technical support, and implementing process changes. You will also be responsible for rigorous analysis of production data and databases, and managing/ coordinating improvements or small capital projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Daily process monitoring for nominated plant areas, escalating any issues as required
- Provide technical support relating to the plant to colleagues across the organisation
- Identify and prioritise resolution of plant vulnerabilities
- Implement process changes following the change order (management of change) process
- Provide technical direction to the production department on a daily basis
- Undertake short term process optimisation
- Responsible for rigorous analysis of production data and databases
- Manages/coordinates improvements or small capital projects
Requirements
- A degree in Process Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or a related field
- Proven experience in process optimisation within an industrial manufacturing setting
- Strong knowledge of manufacturing systems and procedures
- Proficiency in using process simulation software
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Strong communication and team collaboration skills
