Buoy Yard Team Member

We are seeking a skilled and motivated individual to join our Buoy Yard team as a Buoy Yard Team Member. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for performing a variety of tasks, including general labour, water jetting, driving, assembly, slinging, and minor building maintenance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform general labour tasks, including manual handling and lifting
  • Operate water jetting equipment to clean buoys and other equipment
  • Drive company vehicles to transport personnel and equipment
  • Assemble and disassemble equipment, including buoys and lighthouse components
  • Sling and move heavy equipment using cranes and other lifting devices
  • Perform minor building maintenance tasks, including repairs and replacements

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a similar industrial role
  • Appropriate level of practical training
  • Full driving licence
  • Good working knowledge of Health & Safety in a similar environment
  • Ability to follow instructions and Standard Operating Procedure
  • Ability to work away from home across the Lighthouse estate as part of a remote team

Desirable Qualifications:

  • Good written English and Maths skills
  • Good understanding of IT
