About the Role:

We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Mobile Catering Assistant to join our team at Norse Group. As a Mobile Catering Assistant, you will be responsible for supporting all aspects of the catering service, including food preparation, cooking, presentation, and service to students and staff.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the preparation, cooking, and presentation of nutritious food and beverages in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
  • Ensure compliance with food hygiene, health and safety, and quality assurance procedures.
  • Provide excellent customer service to students and staff, responding to their needs and concerns in a friendly and polite manner.
  • Work effectively as part of a team, supporting colleagues to achieve high standards of service and quality.
  • Hold a Full UK Driving Licence and access to a vehicle, as this role requires regular travel between sites.

Requirements:

  • Previous catering experience or willingness to be trained in the role.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with colleagues and customers.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, meeting deadlines and maintaining high standards of quality and service.
  • Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including mornings, afternoons, and occasional evenings.
