About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join our dynamic team in the Cardiology Department's Cardiac Catheter Suite. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality patient care, working collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams, and supporting the out-of-hours on-call service.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to develop your skills and expertise in a state-of-the-art environment, utilizing the latest technologies and techniques in cardiac catheterization and interventional cardiology.

The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a strong ability to work under pressure and make sound judgments in high-stress situations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver safe and effective patient care in the Cardiac Catheter Suite, including pre-procedure preparation, procedure assistance, and post-procedure recovery.
  • Support the out-of-hours on-call service, responding to emergency situations and providing timely interventions as required.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless patient care, including cardiologists, radiographers, and other healthcare professionals.
  • Participate in ongoing professional development, staying up-to-date with the latest advances and best practices in cardiac catheterization and interventional cardiology.
Requirements
  • RGN/RN/RSCN Active NMC Registration.
  • ENB 998 or Mentorship level 3 or the equivalent.
  • ILS.
  • At least 3 years' experience within Cardiology Cath Lab environment.
  • Previous experience at band 5.
