Job Title: Lead Electrical Supervisor

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Lead Electrical Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for carrying out installation works and supporting maintenance activities across our sites.

Your primary objective will be to ensure that all works are completed safely and efficiently, while maintaining high standards of quality and adhering to our Health, Safety and Environment (HSE) procedures. You will also be responsible for supervising other staff, providing technical solutions for installation requirements, and participating in our Permit to Work System.

The estimated salary for this position is £65,000-£75,000 per annum, depending on experience.

Responsibilities:

  1. Installation and Maintenance: Carry out installation of electrical systems and controls associated with Heating, Ventilating and general Building Services, as well as repair and maintenance of lighting and distribution systems.
  2. Fault Diagnosis: Diagnose electrical faults associated with reactive maintenance of the site.
  3. Reporting and Record Keeping: Provide reports in relation to work and equipment as required, including completion of site records for new works carried out.
  4. Store Management: Maintain stores systems.
  5. Flexibility: Be flexible in approach to working hours required taking into account business hours, public access and customer completion dates.
  6. Teamwork: Assist other trades as required. Undertake miscellaneous duties as instructed.
  7. Cover and Support: Provide cover for other staff when on holiday or during sickness absence.
  8. HSE Compliance: Comply with HASAWA and company HSE procedures.
  9. Leadership and Supervision: Carry out installation and replacement works as required, supervising other staff, providing material lists and technical solutions for installation requirements.
  10. Maintenance and Repairs: Carry out maintenance and reactive repairs of mechanical and electrical building services and associated equipment when required.
  11. PPM Schedules: Carry out PPM in accordance with set schedules, ensuring engineering standards are maintained to maximise operational effectiveness and reliability of Plant and associated electrical systems when instructed.
  12. Quality Assurance: Ensure onsite Quality Assurance procedures are adhered to in all respects, maintaining accurate records/documentation associated with works.
  13. Permit to Work System: Participate in Permit to Work System.
  14. Cross-Site Working: Work across all sites, liaising with customer representatives when required, organising resources to deliver works as required to meet programme and customer expectations.
  15. SLAs and Objectives: Meet/exceed Service Level Agreements/Objectives as set.
  16. Tate Events: Support events as required.

Requirements:

  • Qualifications: City & Guilds (Electrical Installation 236) Parts 1 & 2 or equivalent, 18th Edition qualification, Test & Inspection qualified.
  • Experience: Experience with electrical maintenance including fault diagnosis and rectification, experience in electrical installation works in occupied buildings, good mechanical experience/knowledge.
  • Licensing: Driving license.
