Financial Services Disputes and Investigations Associate

We are seeking an experienced Associate to join our Financial Services Disputes and Investigations team in Bristol. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for advising on a range of contentious matters, including high-value and complex banking litigation, professional negligence claims, and investment litigation.
About the RoleAs an Associate, you will work closely with our senior team members to provide strategic and commercial legal advice to our clients. You will be responsible for running a varied caseload, undertaking supervision of others, and participating in business development activities. You will also have the opportunity to assist with the production of legal updates and know-how development.
Key Responsibilities- Advising on contentious matters, including banking litigation, professional negligence claims, and investment litigation
- Running a varied caseload, including high-value and complex cases
- Undertaking supervision of others, including junior lawyers and paralegals
- Participating in business development activities, including client meetings and pitches
- Assisting with the production of legal updates and know-how development
We are looking for a qualified Solicitor or Chartered Legal Executive with experience of running their own caseload of litigation matters. You will have a thorough understanding of the CPR and the litigation process. Ideally, you will have experience in acting in the financial services sector on contentious matters, but we are also keen to receive applications from those with a background in insurance litigation, property litigation, or commercial litigation.
