Unlock a Fulfilling Career in Clinical Academic Neurology

We are seeking highly motivated and enthusiastic individuals to join our team as Clinical Research Fellows, focused on translational neuroscience in disease areas such as Parkinson's disease, Alzheimer's disease, motor neuron disease, and multiple sclerosis.

This exciting opportunity is part of the National Institute for Health and Care Research (NIHR) Sheffield Biomedical Research Centre (BRC), where you will integrate within a multidisciplinary team of research clinicians and scientists with expertise in cutting-edge biological and clinical research techniques.

You will have the opportunity to develop your own project with a suitable supervisor in your area of interest or assist in ongoing research across the NIHR Sheffield BRC. Our comprehensive experience will equip you with the skills, knowledge, and connections to pursue a fulfilling career in clinical academic neurology.

The 12-month funding affords an opportunity to learn the principles and practice of experimental medicine studies and gain the experience, time, and support network required to submit applications for a future PhD position in the area.

We offer a competitive salary range of £44,159 to £61,833 per annum, depending on level of experience, as well as opportunities for career-based mentoring, SPARC placements, and targeted seminars and training courses through the NIHR Sheffield BRC Training Academy.
