We are seeking a highly motivated Freight Forwarding Sales Professional to cover the North of the UK with a base in Manchester. This is an exciting opportunity to join our team at Freight Personnel and take on a challenging role selling and promoting a freight forwarding multi-modal service.

Our client is a highly successful Logistics provider offering Air, Sea & Road Freight Forwarding solutions on a global scale. With an established international network, they provide customers with exceptional service at competitive prices.

Job Description

This is a sales-driven role that involves identifying prospective clients, making appointments, visiting clients to sell and promote air and sea import and export services worldwide. You will be responsible for managing the complete sales cycle from prospecting to closing deals.

Requirements
  • You will have experience of selling a multi-modal freight forwarding service or have sold only one mode as long as this is sea or air freight.
  • You will be self-motivated, sales driven with a proven track record in sales.
  • You will possess excellent market knowledge in freight forwarding and good negotiation and closing skills.
What We Offer

As a Freight Forwarding Sales Professional, you can expect a competitive salary package including:

  • A salary of £45,000 to £60,000 depending on your experience.
  • A car allowance.
  • A commission scheme.
  • Plus, a range of benefits.

The estimated annual salary for this role is £55,000 based on average performance and location.
