Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Project Manager to lead our construction projects. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering projects on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Project Governance: Ensure that all projects are delivered in accordance with our governance framework, including compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
  • Resource Management: Manage project resources, including personnel, budget, and materials, to ensure that projects are delivered efficiently and effectively.
  • Project Planning: Lead the planning of projects, including developing project schedules, budgets, and resource allocation plans.
  • Work Management: Manage work as defined in the Work Authorisation Document (WAD), ensuring that all work is completed to the required quality standards.
  • Change Management: Lead, support, and initiate change against the Performance Measurement Baseline (PMB), ensuring that all changes are properly assessed and implemented.
  • Risk and Opportunity Management: Lead, initiate, and perform risk and opportunity identification and subsequent actions, ensuring that all risks and opportunities are properly assessed and mitigated.

Requirements:

  • Project Management Experience: Proven experience in project management, with a focus on construction projects.
  • Construction Background: A strong background in construction, with experience in managing construction projects.
  • APM Qualification: APM qualification or equivalent.
  • NEC Contracts: Experience with NEC contracts from a commercial perspective.
  • Civil/Construction Background: A civil or construction background, with experience in managing construction projects.
  • Desirable: NEBOSH/CDM Regulations qualification and public sector experience.
