About the Role

We are seeking a talented Graduate Civil Design Engineer to join our team at Penguin Recruitment. As a Graduate Civil Design Engineer, you will be responsible for designing and analyzing infrastructure and highways-related projects, as well as overseeing projects from initial concept to completion.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and Analysis: Develop designs of infrastructure and highways-related projects using advanced software tools.
  • Project Management: Oversee projects from initial concept through to completion, including budgeting, scheduling, and client communications.
  • Technical Excellence: Perform design analysis and provide technical solutions to complex engineering challenges.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with architects, contractors, and other stakeholders to deliver high-quality engineering solutions.
  • Site Management: Conduct site visits and inspections to monitor construction progress and ensure adherence to design specifications.

Requirements
  • Qualifications: A degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
  • Technical Skills: An understanding of Civils 3D and Microdrainage would be beneficial.
  • Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to provide innovative and practical solutions to engineering problems.
  • Driving License: A full UK driving license is preferred, as site visits will be part of the role.
