About the Role:

We are seeking an Architectural Assistant to join our team at High Speed Two (HS2). As an Architectural Assistant, you will support the architectural team in managing their varied workloads and responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide technical support in creating, sourcing, and managing documents and materials to enable the architectural team to fulfill its responsibilities.
  • Support liaison with interdisciplinary teams across the Infrastructure Directorate (ID) and the Phase 1 delivery team and Phase 2 to deliver a coordinated multidisciplinary approach to architectural design.
  • Assist with managing programmes and workflows with Design Consultants.
  • Assist with the management of Technical Requirements with members of the Architectural Team.
  • Ensure safety is a key priority in all aspects of the role.
  • Provide a design custodian role for the HS2 Design Vision.

About You:

We are looking for a highly skilled and motivated individual with a strong background in architectural design and a passion for delivering high-quality results. You will have excellent communication and organisational skills, with the ability to build relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

Requirements:

  • 2D & 3D CAD proficiency and Adobe (particularly InDesign) competency essential.
  • Ability to manage workload to meet agreed deadlines and targets.
  • Strong communication and organisational skills.
  • Ability to build relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Portfolio that demonstrates design thinking and design development.
