We are seeking an experienced Occupational Therapist to join our Access and Independence Service in London. The successful candidate will provide initial assessments of service users with complex care and therapy needs, supporting them to set client-centred goals and promote independence and wellbeing in their home environment.

The ideal candidate will have a degree in occupational therapy and be HCPC registered. They will be responsible for assessing and providing equipment to improve independence with activities of daily living, reducing risk of injury to service users and carers. They will also identify service users appropriate for Continuing Health Care and manage complex health needs, as well as completing thorough risk assessments and referring where necessary.

The Occupational Therapist will work closely with other services within Adult Social Care, as well as specialist agencies, to promote the service and provide guidance and information concerning occupational therapy service provision. They will also provide regular supervision and participate in the professional development of OT Assistants and other junior members of the team.
