Electronics Test Engineer Role

GHA Recruitment Ltd is seeking an experienced Electronics Test Engineer for a permanent position. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electronics manufacturing and a good understanding of technical drawings and schematics.

This role requires the ability to read and interpret technical specifications, identify components, and diagnose faults to component level. The successful candidate will be responsible for testing and diagnosing customer products to company and industry standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Testing and diagnosis of customer products to company and industry standards
  • Carrying out fault diagnosis to component level
  • Supporting internal and external customers on technical queries in a timely manner
  • Reporting work status to Test Team Leader / Manager
  • Maintaining accurate test data sets
  • Programming devices to customer specifications

Requirements

  • Minimum of HNC or equivalent in a related subject
  • Previous experience in an electronics manufacturing environment
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office packages
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics
  • Ability to identify components
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy while demonstrating a proactive approach
  • Good communication skills; both written and verbal

What We Offer

  • £40,000 to £45,000 per annum, depending on experience
  • A 37.5-hour week
  • Monday to Thursday, start at 07:30 and finish at 16:00 with a 30-minute unpaid lunch break
  • Friday start at 07:00 and finish at 13:00
